Megasorber Receives FIMP Grant from Victorian Government

The Victorian Government is helping Megasorber to create new jobs and boost its capacity to manufacture innovative soundproofing products.

Vicki Ward, Parliamentary Secretary for Industry and Employment, visited Megasorber on Thursday 4th May 2017 to deliver Victorian Government’s Future Industries Manufacturing Program (FIMP) grant.

Megasorber's Project: Precision Manufacturing Capability Expansion – Stage 1

Utilising our patented technology, Megasorber designs and manufactures innovative high quality performing soundproofing products with applications in numerous industries, such as transport, construction, defence and so on.

In order to meet with the increasing demands for such products from both local and export markets, Megasorber is continually investing in new technology and developing manufacturing methods, as well as testing processes.  Boosted by the support of the Government grant,  Megasorber has implemented the latest CNC technology and unique acoustic measuring systems.  Such technology is globally advanced and is the only system of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere.
