Megasorber LD5
Megasorber LD5 is a high-performance liquid deadener for panel vibration damping and noise control. The exceptional vibration damping properties are complimented by fast drying, ease of use, environmental friendliness and low flammability.

Megasorber LD5 is a thixotropic paste and is specially designed for trowel, pour, brush, roll-on and air-gun spray applications. Once dry, the cured film is UV resistant and water resistant.
The dry film is light in weight without compromising the high performance. Consequently, this material is recommended for weight-sensitive applications, eg aircraft, marine and automotive applications.
Megasorber LD5 effectively reduces resonant vibration. Vibration energy is absorbed within the material and converted to heat. In addition to vibration damping, it also increases substrate transmission loss as a result of the reduction of panel coincidence and panel resonance effects.
LD5 can be trowelled or sprayed on. It is especially suitable for panels with complicated shapes. It can be painted over with an acrylic paint.
